It’s just beast, not specifically female. The noun itself is female (its grammatical gender: la bestia, una bestia) but you can say something like “tío, eres una bestia” meaning “dude, you’re a beast” and you’re not implying female in any way. E.g. if you call your bro a beast you would say ¨eres una bestia¨ the fact that the word ends with an A does not mean that it is a femenine adjective, even trough it seems like it

Bestia sucks, honestly. Not sure why it gets so much praise. Went back a second time to see if maybe first time was a fluke, but no, sucked just as much the second time.
