Multiple news outlets report that the shooter, 30-year-old mother Brittany Tucker, suffered from mental illness. Monroe Police Chief Reggie Brown confirmed the six deaths that occured Thursday night and identified Brittany Tucker, 30, as the shooter. Brown told news outlets on Friday that Tucker suffered from mental health issues and appeared to be going through a crisis. Brooklyn-born in 1996, Brittany Tucker studied Arts at renowned Bard College in NY. She has exhibited in several solo shows at Steve Turner Gallery in Los Angeles and DWDS in Bregenz, Austria. Also, her works have been presented during the Vienna Art Week; Armory Show, NY and at CFHILL, Stockholm. OUACHITA PARISH, LA.
