As a polytheist Pagan Crafter, I regard Christianity (with its deity and figures) present in the realm of deities known or known at one time to human beings over their long history/prehistory. Taking that lore and doctrine into account, Mary is a paramount figure in some varieties of Christianity, like Roman Catholicism. About twenty minutes ago my mom sends me a few photos via text asking if I could help her identify something she'd found in her bathroom. After studying the photos and then doing some research on different sites online, it appears that someone had installed a battery-powered, motion-activated, hidden camera disguised as a power outlet.

Go to the baptism. Let mom be who she wants to be. I’m a heathen, my wife is Catholic, one son is baptist and the other is a non-denominational Christian. I come from an LDS background. We are all entitled to our beliefs. For the past 5 years or so, I've been a theistic pagan. The last 2 years in particular, my faith has become a huge aspect of my life. I live and breathe my religion, it influences my decisions, has strengthened my ethics, benefited my mental health and just truly improved my life all around. Mom doesn't know about it though, and that makes me sad. my mom was a high priestess of a Dianic coven when I was young and transitioned to Asatru when I was about 12; she also gave me whatever freedom I wanted as far as other religions, but I was raised pagan and we lived in a small town in Washington state. I used to use Jesus as my patron God, Mary as my patron Goddess, and I had a huge pantheon of angels and saints. I have, arguably the largest saint statue collection around (not duplicating saints, actual separate individuals). I still have them, even though currently I am following a more specifically pagan path and a different pantheon.
